For the past 4 years Benchmark has been a primary sponsor of the Achievement Center of Texas. The Benchmark Loving Cup which was started by Benchmark 3 years ago has provided assistance to families with limited financial resources whose loved one might not otherwise be able to participate in the program.
They have always been there to help us make the Annual Gala a huge success!
It’s that time of year again! As soon as the holidays are over, we begin putting together the gala silent auction. As anyone who has ever put together a silent auction knows, it doesn’t happen overnight. Some organizations have a large pool of volunteers but we do not so if you have some time to give, we can also use you.
We usually have a lot of great baskets in our auction. We get a lot of small items and someone has to create a value for those items. This value is created by volunteers who create great baskets from all of the donated goods. We can always use larger woven baskets, even new plastic baskets can be used to create great baby or what we call “Grandma Baskets” which have all kinds of items for kids and Grandma’s really like them to give to their grandchildren or give as gifts.
We also have a selection of high-end collectible and autographed items. If you collect sports, music or miscellaneous memorabilia, you should consider attending our event.
What a great way to support ACT, a very worthy non-profit agency providing day care services for disabled individuals.

The event is quickly approaching. All of our volunteers are as busy as little beavers working to get everything just right! You’re welcome to join us. Tickets are $100.00 each.
